Half Lotus
Half Lotus is a solo music project of mine. I’ve been writing songs for about 5 years now, and in those years I’ve self-released a bunch of albums. They range in style and execution. I’m self-taught; still not the best at guitar, singing, or production, but with each album I feel my skills improving incrementally. My major influences are singer/songwriters and bands like The Weakerthans (John K. Samson is easily one of my all-time idols), Neutral Milk Hotel (Jeff Mangum… enough said), Slaughter Beach Dog, Built to Spill, and too many others to name here. Have a listen to some tunes!

(This is a concept album about an astronaut who is approached by an alien life form. This being offers him an opportunity to travel the universe and the multiverse, to view the strange corners no man has ever seen before. All the while, the astronauts wife longs for his safe passage home.)

Denizen Drifter
Denizen Drifter is a project started by myself and a dear friend, Connor. It was born and bred from the dreaded Covid lockdowns of 2020. What started as the two of us sending demos and instrumentals back and forth and writing vague lyrics to some undeveloped project, turned into a two year long journey to craft our debut album, Fallow. We’ve got gas in the tank and a hunger to make more music together. This album is essentially the two of us finding our legs and finding a workflow and style that suits us best. Excited to see what the future holds for D.D.
